Dennis 4w-4PH

station 2007. (P.Nicholson)
Dennis was built in 1981 by Arnold
Bimpson. Originally it was an American GP40 style locomotive with yellow livery
and named 'Hiawatha'. It arrived at the Weston Miniature Railway in May 1983.
In the winter of 1998, Hiawatha was rebuilt as the bodywork was falling
apart. Bob Bullock built a new body which included an enclosed cab. The new loco
was named 'Dennis'.
Dennis has recently changed power source and has been
repainted orange with black stripes from a previous green
livery.
